Thread: Panel update 25

  1. #1

    Default Panel update 25

Moved the gauges to the upper left and put in a Garmin 16 8616xsv. Eventually going to do a Fox marine engine monitor, new Garmin open array radar, and Garmin Autopilot.

Looks good. I like the 16". I went with a 12" to retain my gauges in the same area, just relocated and separated from the volvo bezel.

It's an IS40 Instrument Display that will show most NMEA data. I mainly use it for water temp with a large easy to read number.

Many times I've thought the same, only to shudder at cost uplift for that idea. I got my 12", 4G, and RC42 for a song because of something Navico was doing with Tech Data at the time and I have friends within the latter.

What is, is probably all that will be ... except the old 8" Gen 1 will mostly likely go eventually.

Yeah the cost for that jump is crazy. Ray marine has 16” reburbished axioms for $3k right now, that’s almost half price. Very tempting but not in the cards right now.
