    Default WTB: C4 prop set

Iíve got a 1.78 ratio and C5ís right now. 8.1 crusader makes 4,400 rpm, but I have a hard time getting on plane with a full load. Hoping C4ís will help.

I think the C4s will help. Your 8.1 should be turning up to what, 4800? My guess is the c4s will see about 4700-4750 wide open.

I ran C4 on my 25' and it performed way better then with C5. My WOT was great with a full load and she would come out the hole with a full fish load aloy better then C5 and the fuel burn was around d 1.5-1.7 mpg all day every day

I was thinking of keeping the C5ís for spares but maybe we could work something out. What is your engine/drive combo now and top RPM?

You go with C4 you won't want to go back to C5 it's like a completely different boat. I am not sure how the guys are even running the C5 and remain happy with the performance of the boat unless they just carry a very light load. After I switched to the C4 I never had to touch my throttle after setting it again when running offshore even with a Stern sea she would just chug along.

Great! And just to clarify you had a 1.78 drive and an 8.1?
