So the props scanned port is 17 x 23.8 and starboard 16.5 x 24 which is a obvious issue. Another problem is that I can not verify my ZF gears and ratio. Once the boat is back in the water Ill tach the crank and shaft but as of now Im kind of clueless. I called albemarle and she had to go through some paper documents and came up with these numbers for the gears. Port 5FD826, starboard 5FD828.

Any1 know who could brake down those numbers to see what I got?
I also feel that I need less of a pitch then the 17x24 which the prop guy recommended for the boat since I only got 2600 rpm full throttle

The transmission plate with all the numbers and the ratio is basically on the top of the transmission housing and roughly under the turbo air filter. Have you pulled your air filter off the turbo and looked for the data plate? If it is painted over, just hit it with some solvent.

Any1 know how much clearance they are running from the top of the prop to the hull. Seems most cases you want at least 10% clearance of the diameter of the prop. With the 17 wheels on my 1998 hull I have under 5% clearance.
    I measure the center of the shaft to the hull = 9.25 x2 18.5 -17 = 1.5/2 =0.75
    0.75 / 17 x100 = 4.5%
    Am I doing this right?

.75 / 9.25 x 100 = 8.1%. You are looking for percentage from certerline of shaft to hull. I don’t know the exact gap on mine, but I can’t get my hand between the hull and the blade when it’s straight up.

Pulling mine tomorrow, and bringing her home for some maintenance. I'll try and remember to check.

Should be even more than 10%, I put the longer struts on over the winter. Saw a little improvement in performance and don’t have to use as much tab.

Installed nibral 17x21 and my numbers are getting better
    2200rpm Im at 22 knots
    2600 rpm 30 knots
I can tell the motors are much happier now and the boat gets up to speed in half the time.
