    Mac use to do it without removing the deck but you need a forklift with long forks so you can chain the engine tight to the fork. The 32 can be done the same way

    The only way you will slow down the planing speed is to increase the size of the trim tabs. Bluefin 32 did that on his 32 and said there was a significant improvement in slower cruise speed
