CC 25' Stern Seating

Noticed that some of my fishing compadres, especially the female spouses, are seeking some seating when trolling for long periods with little or no fishing action. I run my curtains full up all season long.

I seem to recall a lift out stern seat photo but I don't recall the site or if it was a "for sale" boat.

Anyone out there seen this? I want to minimize intrusion into the cockpit and I don't care for the beanbag type seating. Not a lot of options, I'm sure.

Have also thought about chairs but they would just seem to get in the way.

Thoughts or help appreciated.

25 seating

Two options we have used:
1) pair of deck chairs (from West Marine). When things begin to get hectic fold up and pile in front of port helm seat or into cabin.
Not the best, but comfortable when running out to fish.
2) large cooler in front of fish/bait well.

or.. buy a larger boat or take fewer people

25' seating !!!

We are on our #2 carolina 25 & we have been using a big ice chest for more seating, this work also as a seat when you have a big on on & you can move it where you need it..
This also good to have all that ice when you land a BFT !!!

Cooler / seat

I bought an "Ultra Cool" 160 qt cooler for the stern. Expensive, but worth it. I attach tie-downs from the handles on the cooler to the stern cleats. The bottom of the cooler comes with a type of non-skid application to stop it from sliding around. Seems to do the job well.
