32 storage solutions

[Split Decision]

I know their are not many 32 owners here yet but what have you added to gain more storage?

I added a medicine cabinet door under the 7' bunk to gain easy access to that space. I think I will add a single door to the short bench seat on the other side also. Not much room under that one but every little bit helps.

I wanted to gain access under the steps but Mac did'nt like the idea of cutting out the risers for a door.

i added storage to the engine room on the starboard side. It is the same thing that bluemoon did and that helped a ton in just getting the engine stuff and tool, filters, oil and other misc out of the way then it nothing but beer and fishing tackle on the top deck

I can't do anything there. That is where the compressor is for the freezer boxes. It's about 1 1/2 ft wide and almost touches the engine which does'nt leave any room for other stuff. Maybe I can put something on the other side for oil and stuff.

Next time I get to the boat I will take a picture. I just talked to Mac and he is going to send me another door for the other side. Not much room under that one but i'll take it.

hello,

do you use the stbd side couch? I try to understand why many builders have one...
anyway
why not modify it to a hanging locker? I see the electrical panel is over it but still is possible...

I cut the door into the other bunk over the weekend. There is more room in there than I thought there would be but is unfinished. No floor or forward and rear bulkhead. Glassing those in will be a project for another day. For now I will keep some stuff in small boxes so I don't loose them in the bildge even though the floor gap is only 3-4". Good for filters and spare parts.
