Am I the only one that has a problem with the rubber covers not turning when you start the engines. I tried zipper lube but that only lasts for 5 minutes. Is their anything else that will work? These things are locked up solid.

    Hi Tom,
I spray silicone in the rubber boot key slot, which seems to work well.

I have been putting silicone as general maintenance and have not had that problem- yet. When they get stuck does it prevent you from turing the keys?? if so what have you done- just in case it happens to me next.

It has'nt prevented me from turning the key but it's real hard. You can pull the rubber out the front. That's what I did to lube them up with the zipper lube but that does'nt work. I will try the silicone grease.
