I took sailbox safety netting which is 22 or so inches wide and strung it under the 3 sections of the hardtop; wrapping it onto the aluminum suppprts with parachute cord. Helm side has 2 float coats; port side has 2 class 1 life jackets and the center section has 2 gumby survival suits up there.
For added value I have a couple dry towels and fleeces up there for use in a pinch. I also tuck my charts up under the float coats over my head so if I need them I don't need to fumble around the cabin.
