Need suggestions on rocket launchers along the hardtop ,Has anyone used the clamp on type and how do they hold up?

Lee Clamp on's

We have 4 Lee clamp on's, they are nice but we have had a problem, We had a hook up on a 65lb yellow finn on a turn and that pole was in one of the clamp on's, it bent the rod holder just a little, we had 18lbs of drag on the reel, now I have the drag set at 16lbs and have not had any more troble.

Thanks for the reply,I was going to have them welded in but I think i'll try the clamp ons. It's a lot easier and less trouble.

I had a 25, I called the manufacture of the rocket launchers, bought 4 and had them welded to an aluminum bar which bolted to the hard top

Mine has the aluminum pipe bolted on top of the hard top with the tulips welded to it. I believe it came from the factory this way. If so it should be no gig deal to bolt it on. I also have the three rod holder up each side of the hard top legs. Again this is bolted on and I think a factory option.

Rod Holders

I contacted Ashley Welding, the people who make the tops for CC, they stock a rack of bolt on rocketlaunchers that fits perfectly along the aft edge of your hard top, believe me, if I bolted them on, anyone can, it took me an hour.
They are BEAUTIFUL and solid as a rock, hooked my daughters jumpie seat up to them, didn't budge.

Talk to Mike, they are a little more (don't remember what I paid) then the clampons but you won't regret it.
He also custom fabricated a leaning post for the top of my 25.

Rocket launchers

Does anyone know the diameter of the tubing across rear of 25 hardtop, for mounting rocket launchers? Any links to websites would be helpful. thanks
