  • Surface mount underwater lights?

Anyone know anything about Abyss lights?

3/16" hole for wire only and 3 screws to hold it to the transom.

A friend of mine just put some on a 38 henriques to light up the sides. He had some halogens in the transom already. He said they were good but I did not see them myself. Personally I would not use them as my main lights. I don't think they are bright enough. The largest is listed as 750 lumens where my 50 watt xenon's are 5400 lumens. Granted they are more money but considering the amount of light, not much more. I think you can get the aqualights for around 800$ ea.

I would consider these for the sides where access is VERY limited to eliminate the black hole on each side.

I did some checking and could not find the lumen output of the hydroglow. I have never used one so I have nothing to compair it to. You might ask Chris because he used one and can compair the two. I do know that he does not like the hydroglow.
