I am installind a Blue Sea DC panel in the galley area near the 110v outlet. The panel will be switching my underwater lights, livewell pump, and charger for my remote spotlight.
I noticed that the panel has a "grounding bar" in addition to the negative bar. The directions state this as "optional".
If I were to ground it, would I connect it to my transom zinc or somewhere else?
I was planning on running ground wires from each of the 4 underwater lights back to the transom zinc. If I do this is grounding of the DC panel needed?
Thanks,
Chris
