High Water Bilge Alarm

On a 28, if you have installed one, where did you locate the sensor/float? I am guessing the best place is near the aft bilge pump?

I installed one in the engine room next to the original float switch and one aft under the livewell area. That covers running & taking on water & sitting, taking on water.

Same for me

2 seperate sensors wired to a single alarm. After a really good washdown; the rear one will scream when I power up on plane.

I also installed a momentary "test" switch on the dash to make certain the audible alarms where functioning.
