  • Cabin Door Hatch Cylinders

What is the trick for the hatch to stay up? Sometimes it stays, others it wants to fall down. Am I missing something or are the cylinders just worn? Seems like there should be some sort of positive lock.......

I had an 01 28, never an issue with the hatch staying up, even while running thru the slop. I would guess that you need a replacment. Give a call down to CC and they will get it right out to you.

if it is like the cylinders on a 25, i got mine at napa auto parts, take the old one i there and let them cross it over, almost the same part number but a letter was added somewhere to the part # by the manafacturer.the cylindr will be identical.

I would think one of the cylinders is shot. I think mine has the stainless thats what I would get.
