Install Mako Mag In 28

Has Anyone Instaled A Mako Mag In Their Boat, And If You Did Where Did You Locate It. Did You Have To Cut Out The False Floor In The Bilge? Can Anyone Give Advise On Instalation For One.

I use one all the time but do not have it mounted in the hull.

A Freind Of Mine Did Something Like That But He Only Came Home With The Cord. I Am Looking To Install Permant And Work It Off A Switch On The Helm Spare Blower Switch. I Just Don't Know About The Floor When The Through Hull Ducer Was In Staled It Looks Like The Cut Out The Floor In The Bilge?

I do believe that when you install in the bilge it needs to be mounted in water for it to work right so you would need to mount it in a tub. I would check with the manufacturer first to conferm.

Does the Mako Mag really work???

Yes they work I know a lot of people that swear by them I used them no big fish to speak of from them I have one and want to install in my 28cc but I need help where to put it.I am tired of putting over the side and watching the sharks try to eat it.

You can throw an old shoe in the water and a mako would chew on it too. But I must not lie I own a mako magnet , I have caught makos with it and I caught them when I forgot to turn the magnet on aswell. So who knows!

Bear with me, there are no Mako's in the great lakes So just what is a Mako Mag and what is it supposed to do?

Just To Give A Heads Up On The Mag I Had A 80lb Mako Biting On The Boat Right Where The Mag Is Instaled He Almost Bit Off The Hose For The Trim Tabs It Is Working Pretty Good I Had A 50lb And A 80lb Come To The Mag
