I was having problems with my steering on my way in from the canyon the end of august and found it to be slightly low on fluid. Filled the system and everything was fine so I thought it was air that just worked its way to the upper helm since I could'nt find any leaks.
Went bass fishing Sunday and lost the steering on the way in again. Managed to get back OK and filled the system again with a few ounces and found the slave cylinder seal was leaking. Emailed Seastar this morning and sent them all the info and they are shipping me a new one in the morning under warranty no questions. I just need to ship the old one back once I change it out. Great service.
