  • Battery charger replacement

9 years and its time to proactively replace the old one with a newer model.

How is it wired? To each (3 bank) or to an isolator in the engine room box?

Do I need a simple 1 bank charger or a 3 bank changer?

Why replace? Sounds like you want to spend money for no good reason. If I remember correctly you have (3) batteries therefore a (3) output charger, probably 40 amp output. Most of the current chargers will outlast the boat unless they are used or abused , ie. dead battery...use therm to start an engine or run the hatch lift. Btw, I am an A.B.Y.C. Certified Electrician.

      because

the analog gauge and lights don't work . Seriously - I'd rather spend 300$ to be safe than to have it be overcharging and toast my batteries.

The only indication I have that it is working is a hum _ need just a bit more feedback!
