  • Shaft Seals

Have a 95 28 with straight inboard gas. Port dripless shaft seal is leaking and we are going to replace both sides. I have a couple of questions. Does anyone know what make seal was stock in the boat? Can't find any markings on the current ones. Also for anyone who has done a replacement what options did you have and what did you go with and why. We have 1 1/2 in shafts. Any input is appreciated. Chuck

    Call Keith

Give Keith a call at our factory. He told me earlier this year who made them on my 04 28 (it was not a company I could have identified on my own - a foundry in Greenville as I recall) but it's best to give him the year your boat was built and let him give you a solid answer. I think there are other dripless seals you could also consider, like those from PSS.
