Does anyone here with outdrives do anything with the bolts/housings inside of the boat? I have started spraying them with corrosion inhibitor and checking them out after reading that post where the guy had one fall off of his 25. My father in law, the previous owner, left the boat in the water and I am wondering if this may have corroded any bolts etc. One bolt on the port side is rusty but it otherwise looks like it has not been compromised. By the way, in case there is anyone on the post who doesnt know this already, Mac and Keith are a joy to interact with. I am the second owner of my 2001 and they treat me just like I drove it off the showroom floor yesterday. Thanks in advance for any advice on keeping this straight.
