Lower unit steering repair

Just had my boat hauled to check steering out because you could not keep it straight .. and was told that the pins and bushings on the steering arms were wore slam out...Has anyone done this repair and what else should be done at this time for future problems...I dont know alot about the outdrive and how its been serviced..This is on a 94 cc25 with a volvo outdrive and just repowered with a 8.1 crusader....Thanks in advance for any help....
