My new D4's which put out 80 Amp's seem to be cooking water out of the batteries at a much higher rate than my older KAMD 42's which I believe were either 50 or 60 Amp alternators.
This leads to the question as to how one checks if the Voltage ergulator is in fact regulating voltage correctly when the battery is fully charged.
Anyone have a suggestion on how I would check my regulator is in fact stepping down voltage to a trickle when the batteries are charged?
