  • Hynautic shifter issue

    Quick question!!

Can anyone with experience in this dept. trouble shoot this for me. My upper helm throttle for my port engine (4bta)does not respond.... this just occured. My lower helm works fine. I can advance my throttle downstairs and can decrease my throttle from both stations. In short lower helm works fine and upper helm (port engine side) will only decrease throttle. Seems like it must be at the throttle shifter itself... but I have 0 experience with these types of shifters and would rather not chase my tail if someone has had this problem b/f and could shed some light. Thanks... Also... does anyone know why CC uses these... I like em .... just currious!

    Thanks

I had a similar issue with my gear levers, the port lever would go into forward at the lower station but would only come back into neutral at the upper station. I discovered this about 1/2 a second before I hit the dock!

It turned out to be a Dill valve within the control assembly, I had them replaced and it seems to be ok now. You can get spare parts here:
