    can someone tell me whats involved in changing the masorator pump on the back of the toilet, I have a 1997 28' the pump would work if you hit it with a screw driver, now stopped alltogether.

    This is one for Backman. If I recall, he had his all apart last year.

      Easy if you take it out.

      I replaced mine by taking it out ( 4 bolts/3 hoses/2 wires and unbolting the macerator from the toilet on deck and replacing it; then putting the whole thing back in place.

      Time from start to finish was under 2 hr's. Mess factor was minimal.

      I suppose you could try and rebuild the pump, but that's one I have no interest oin going inside
