  • Grease fitting on rudder tie bar

    Mac,

Hope you can help me. I have been to many local marine supply stores trying to find replacement grease fitting for the rudder tie bar. (the originals have rusted out) Can you help me?

Also, I have worn out a few of the rubber boots that cover the toggle switches on the dash. I also have tried to locate them but have been unsuccessful.

    Thanks,

Not sure I can help you on the grease fittings because some we get in have them and some don't. We never know from one shipment to the next. Spray the ball joint with a good lubricant to keep it from seizing and you should be OK. There's not a lot of movement (or wear) on that so you should be OK.

As for the rubber boot, if you don't find something, give us a call.

    Tight lines,

    Mac
