Water/exhaust

I have a 2002 28'. Do I need to do anything to guard against water injestion into the exhaust. If so how can I tell if it has been modified to take care the problem?

I have 8.1 volvo's. It is a fresh water boat only.

I believe if you do a search - you will find they were only with one specific engine.

You should call Mac directly and ask him the question.He can explain the newest upgrade to you. There were 3 or 4 changes to the exhaust but I believe that you should have the latest design with an 02 boat. Not sure what year the last design came out. I believe that it is not as much of a problem with a freshwater boat as it is with saltwater.
