  • Hydraulic Jacks ?????

I am the original owner of a 96-25CC. Since I have had the boat I have had to rebuild the hydraulic jacks for the engine cover; port jack twice and the starboard once. I spoke to a excavator and he told me that I could use regular transmission oil instead of jack oil. Is anyone out there familiar with the requirements and has rebuilt their hydraulic jacks. Thanks! Tom T.
PS Discovered today that the port jack is leaking again.

I'm in the gate automation business, all of my operators are hydraulic. If you are leaking fluid, then you have a major problem, Your cylinder rams are scored and that is eating yor seals. Check this and then go from there. Loss of fluid is not good. if I can help send me a message.
