Cost to repower to 8.1

what is the cost for engine, outdrive and labor to repower cc25 with the 8.1 ?

engine will run about 12,00 or so, you will have to redo the exhaust with 2- 4" 45's, you will need to change the fitting off of the heat exchanger to allow better access for your seawater hose, and move your motor mounts. just changing a few hoses as well as fuel lines and lengthening your throttle cable also possibly is all you need. it is really a do-it yourself type of deal with not much problem, just time consuming. we did ours in the 25 ourselves, but between we are really good with mechanical/electrical. i do know town creek in beaufort,nc has done some of the repowers, check with them or layton.

I've seen gofshn's repower and they did a great job! They should have put together an instruction manual/DVD.

I think I heard the guys at Carolina Classic will do repower when things are slow.
