Joing the ranks!

After looking at several different boats and waffling back and forth between a 28 and a 25 I've finally joined the ranks and bought a 25. My wife wanted the 28 but since I'm not sure about how much time we'll have to realistically use the boat I opted for the 25.

There were several very nice 25's on the market (a couple of them on this site!) but I chose one that was close by and had most of the options I wanted.

The boat is a 1997 with a new trailer. The electronics are dated so my next step will be to install a new all-in-one system (maybe the new Garmin system to be released this spring) in a couple of months. I'll post some pictures in the user gallery when I get good ones!

There's one in Virginia Beach (on traderonline.com) that looked decent from the ad....1998 with a newer Crusader 8.1 repower, trailer, and full electronics. I don't know anything about it but it looks like it could be a nice boat close to where you are!

25 Just traded

I have just cut a deal to trade my 06 25 Yanmar for an 07 28. My dealer is Dave Bofill in So. Hampton NY. This boat has an amazing electr. pkg. and has a zero hrs. Yanmar straight inboard. Although the price may be higher than some older boats, this is a great opputunity for the serious fisherman.

What kind of motor do you have in your 25cc? Doug.

I've got the 7.4L with a carb. I hope to get a couple more years out of the engine before I replace with a Crusader 8.1L.
