The Freezer Bait And Fish Boxes,a Marlin Tower, pompanette Fighting Chair ,but Iam Speculative About It Because Of The 80 Square Feet Cockpit Space,i Dont Want To Be Fumbling Around It,you Know!!!! I Want All Furuno Electronics I Have The Chart Plotter Now And I Love It.. I Took My 33 Grady From The Outer Banks This Fall,to Florida, And Didnt Need One Paper Chart. Great Trip By The Way!!!! Have You Got Suggestions Were To Put The Life Raft So It Doesnt Interfere With The Radar Tower?? Ive Got The Rod Storage Down..mac Is Going To Have One Of His Insallers Work With Me When The Boat Is Done,,iam Supplying The Holders.. I Thought Of A Great Place To Mount Rod Holders The Other Day,,, Just Above The Couch Theres Room For Maybe 4 50;s You Have To Drill Openings In The Bulkhead Divider Between The Sofa And Bed.. Hi Chuck:
Great choice on a new boat. You will not be sorry you made that decision. I have a 2005 32.
I always thought that mounting a raft on the bow or tower was a bad idea. You want access to the raft to be easy and stable when in a dangerous, life threating, situation. I have the Winslow raft stored beneath the helm seat. It is vacuum packed and in the winslow package (not a hard case). It an emergency the raft can be tossed via the transom door which can also be used by the crew to exit the craft. Winslow designed the packaging based on the dimensions of the area at no extra charge (may have been a boat show special). As for rod storage I have 3 Chaos rods with Tiagra 30W TLS's mounted in the head. They are on the aft bulkhead from which I replaced the towel bar to the starboard bulkhead. I use storabutts on the rods and remove the butts when placing the rods in that area. The starboard storage boxes above the bunk are perfect for storing light 30lb rods and reels with 5'6' standups. By the way I also installed a "Goldenrod" dehumidifier in that area as i noticed a lot of condensation if the cabinets are closed. I also have 2 50V SW Internationals mounted above the bunk almost touching the cabinets on the starboad side.
Good luck with the boat.
If you have any questions let us know. Someone here will always have an opinion and sometimes a good answer.

Chuck:
Forgot to mention the freezer plates in the fish storage box. We had the port side box equipped with the frezzer plates. Without a doubt one of the best extras you can add to the boat. That box will keep the fish fresh without the ice mess. Save the ice for a few cold drinks.

Here is a pic of my install. Don't know if it's the best spot but I always think of the senerio if for some reason I can't get to it then it will float free. If I have throw it overboard then I can walk up the windshield stand on the lower top and get to it.It is a Switlik 6 man.

Chuck:
The winslow will fit in the helm seat storage area. We are doing one now for a customer (a 35, but the 32 box will accomodate it as well). If Winslow is what you want then we can work it into the build - i.e. the inside of the helm box will be glassed smooth and lined with starboard so the raft won't snag as it is being put in or pulled out . . .

Chuck:
I think you have lots of room for 2 12 inch screens. You have about 34.75 inches width and 11.5 inches high on the helm area display. I had made a template with cardboard of the display area. I then made cardboard cut outs of all my electronics and played around with them till I got what I thought was the best placement. As I had said I would not place the raft on the tower. If you had rough seas and had to deploy it, you would be in trouble. Some guys like the raft with a water release but then you are counting on the boat to sink before the raft is deployed. If you have the time you still have to climb on the tower and release the raft. Talk to some of the raft manufactuers and you will get a better sense of where to place it. Remember its not there for looks, you want to have access to it in an emergency. Check out Winslow at the boat shows, they will customize a raft to fit under the pilot seat. I had one made and it takes up very little room when vaccum packed.
After much reading and having had most every brand I went with Simrad. I know they are more expensive then most but so is the boat. I do not like the sounder to be incorporated with the GPS/Radar as I like a full screen display when I am fishing. You could probably accomplish the same with your two dispalys.
You might give some concideration as to where to mount the transducer. I had it mounted way back at the stern. Mac had suggested this area as it has clean undisturbed water at any speed. It is amazing how well it works with readings from idle to full throttle.
Beowulf has the following:
Simrad CR-44/WASS Radar 36" open array 4 kw
Simrad AP26- Auto Pilot
Furuno FCV 582L Sounder
Furuno 520-THPD 1 kw Bronze thru hull
Furuno RD30 Remote Display
Icom M-602 Helm
Icom M-502 Cabin
Icom Command Mike HM-127 Tower
Digital Cellular Amplifier
Garmin 276-C GPS Tower (use as backup to system portable)
Think I posted the pics before but here they are.
Hope it helps
