2 More months

Just 2 more months for the fun to begin for us guys on the east coast!

I thought that I was the only one already thinking about how early I can get my boat in the water this Spring. I just got back from Effengers with some leader. I'm going to tie about 30 sea bass rigs tomorrow. I've never fished the offshore wrecks but that's what I plan to do this April.

Are you keeping your boat in Jersey City again this year?

I called the marina the other day to get the price and they told me that it would be 140 per FT so I think I will be ther for one more season. Where are you keeping your boat for the summer.

I'll be in Waretown again at a group of slips called Barnegat Beach Civic Association. $1,200 per year for a 12 foot slip....my father, brother, and uncle all keep their boats there so I always have someone keeping an eye on Bullish for me. No vacancy left as you can imagine. Great location, great price. My boat is the biggest there....mostly center consoles.

Actually, my Uncle is probably selling his boat so his slip might be open. slip is same size as mine. I believe there is a waitlist but I can ask for you if you are interested. same price...1,200. two cc28's next to eachother would look nice!

My boat is in Waretown now but I will bring it back north in the spring. It is better for me to leave in Jersey City for it is only 20 mins from work and 30 mins from home. I rather drive the boat south than sit in traffic on the parkway. I use to have a house down the shore and I would only use my boat on weekend because it ws to far of ride after work now I go out atleast once a week after work and get more use of my boat. If anyone is interested on taking a boat ride in the ny harbour just let me know and I will be more than happy go out for a ride. The fishing is great in the spring and fall and the sights are great as well.

If it allows you to use the boat during the week....I understand. When I bought my boat new, the dealer drove it down from CT and I picked it up at chelsea piers. It was fun to drive out of NY harbour and down the shore.

Just wondering why would you buy for a dealer in con. and not in nj

I bought in December of 2002. The CT dealer had an 02 and the NJ dealer had an 03 (both new boats). The CT dealer made me a deal that I couldn't refuse. I hated disappointing the NJ dealer but money is money.
