    hello,
    i'm writing from Italy, and i bought yesterday a cc 28 (2 volvo 260), i'm sure i've done a good choice.
    i have a question,
i'll install a raymarine c80 , what about this? it's really a good choice ? In Italy we use this type of eco for tuna fishing and i would like to install it?
    the best trasducer ???
thank you at all of you for your great passion that it will be also mine

    Welcome Popo,
I have no personal experience with the C80's I have seen them on a couple of the local charter boats so they must be good machines as these guys use the top of the line products. Congratulations on your buy.

Just curious, how is the boat being delivered? As far as a transducer I would go with a thru hull with a fairing block and get one with higher watt output. There is a good article in the February edition of Sportfishing magazine on this topic. Maybe you could view it online.

            c80

I would make sure a thru hull transducer is installed. However, I have had both Raymarine and Furuno electronics and the Furuno is far more superior. Just a thought.
Congratulations on the purchase. I am looking forward to seeing your fishing photos from Italy.
