I am a new member and would like to say how happy I am that I saw this site's add in a fishing mag at my Dr.s office!
After much research, talking to Mac at the NYBoatshow, and begging my wife, I bought my 1999 CC25 3 years ago in Southport, NC. Had a trailer made in Ocala FL. and trucked to join the boat. 13 hours down, slept for a couple hours, hooked her up, 13 hours back to Long Island NY. Trailered like a dream, even thru the Bronx! This is my 3rd summer on "Crawdaddy" (named after a college trip I took to Mardi Gras, won't go into detail) and absolutely love the boat. She is tough as nails. Her beautiful lines turn heads everywhere we go and her simplicity and offshore abilities make her a joy to own. Classic Carolina high flaired bow'd beauties are few and far between in my area, (too many "plastic fantastics") but I've noticed they are catching on. I wanted a boat I could take fishing with the guys AND bring my wife and 2 kids for an overnite raftup, works perfectly! We have taken her up the Hudson, around Manhattan, along Connecticut, North Shore Long Island and out to Eastern LI. She takes anything we throw at her. Looking forward to doing Block and Beyond!
Cheers Mac!!! Keep up the good work!
