  • Hello fellow Carolina Classic Owners, and Fans

My name is Bill Diller, My son Chase, 2 and a 1/2 own a 25. CC 1996, that we use to fish offshore , year round here in Beaufort NC. My son fishes with me almost every time I go offshore, and has done so since august of last year. During summer months we target sails and whites, spring and fall bring yeelowfin and wahoo, and winter bring Bluefin, and stripers. We fish 1 to 2 days aweek here in from april thru october, weather permitting, and when the bite and weather are right the rest of the year. I have made some additions to my 25'cCC to fit our stylew of fishing, including double spreader riggers, set up for light tackle and lure fishing, a rocket launcher, with fighting gimbal, and downriggers on the rear legs of the hard to to pull heavy teasers such as dredges, that we pull during summer months. We prefer to fish with liught tackle, and only use 50's for bluefin, and high speed wahoo fishing, most of the rest of the time we use 12's, 20's, and 30's for way way back. We are very confident in dead bait fishing but are relative novices with regard to lure fishing. We definately love our 25', but have outgrown it and are looking toward a new 32' or used 35' in spring 2007.
