Hello all ... just joined the ranks of Classic owners. I'm a novice blue water fisherman and certainly new to the bluewater boats. I live in Greenville, NC and have spent most of my time freshwater flyfishing for trout in various spots around the country and chasing puppy drum in the sound. Decided I'd like to chase some billfish for a while, so settled on the CC as my best option - something I can learn on and feel relatively secure. Took delivery of my 1998 CC 25' this past week, and my wife and I went on our maiden voyage from Beaufort to Ocracoke and back. Great trip without incident (although the salesman who saw us off was singing the Gilligan's Island tune as we left the dock at Town Creek). Keeping the boat in dry stack at 70West in Morehead. Hope to see some of y'all in the area or out around Lookout and the Big Rock. I'm still looking upwards at the learning curve on all this, but at least feel like I'm standing upright and moving forward with a good boat. Thanks to those of you here that responded to my inquiries or spoke with me about my purchase... hope to repay the kindness one of these days.
