Hi all,
Just ran across this site and think it's great. I presently have a 2003 - CC28 with 8.1's which I bought new. I boat/fish Lake Erie and so far love my boat. The only thing better was the dealer we purchased it from-what a guy. I'm still growing with the boat and look forward to sharing stories. Recently installed new Acme props since the rocks took my OEM props and love the new feel. I do have one concern that someone may help with. I'm getting a slight knocking/ticking noise from my transmissions at lower speeds. The new props seem to have changed the noise but it's still there. I'm being told torsional vibration causes this but call me curious. The boat runs great and the noise goes away with no noise or vibration to 3500 RPM's. Any thoughts?
