Congratulations to Tom to get this site up and running. Being a former Shamrock owner for years, and seeing that site develop into one of the most informative on the web, we look forward to great things on this one, solely devoted to Carolina Classics. I bought my CC in Charleston SC in April of 2004 and ran in up to NJ. The Kimbie II has a pair of 41 P's, a genset, and no tower. She was dirty when I picked her up, but the engine surveys and boat surveys reflected minor problems - so we proceeded. I do 99% of my own work on her, so any insight from other users is always welcome and receprocated. Right now, during the long winter in the NE - I am replacing the head gaskets on both engines, rebuilding the salt water pumps, injectors, new injector sleeves and having the heat exchanger and trans cooler boiled out to make sure everything is 100 % for our season. Look forward to everyone's imput.

Thanks for the kind words Brian. It seems that there are a lot of former Shamrock owners that turn to Carolina Classic. It seems that we have good taste in boats. I hope this site does as well as that one.

I did not have a chance to put up a formal welcome yet but will get to that shortly.
