New to the forum. Taking delivery of boat on Sat. Hope all is ship shape. Bought boat sight unseen via through survey, and rep of Mac and family. Newly 2004 repowered 8.1 crusader to volvo outdrive. Current owner of 20' Shamrock, 15' Whaler and operate towboats for Towboat US on lower Potomac. Hope to report positive feedback on broker and surveyor early next week 10/23/07.

You are going to be happy with the dry ride. I had a shamrock CC 20. It was a great boat but the spray always hit me in the face. My carolina takes the rough water and I stay dry.

Thanks for the response! The Shamrock is a great boat but yes very wet. I'll probably sell her come springtime. Can't wait to get the new one down to Lynnhaven where I'll be fishing all winter.

does she happen to have a red stripe at the water level area, and is on a trailer? if so, i know the boat, and she is nice.

Yes she does, and thanks for the positive vote. Boat is being delivered to me tomorrow. I'll post up with first impressions on Monday. Bit nerve racking trying to deal long distance but Terry Davis and my surveyor have been great so far.
