Greetings from a soon to be CC owner

Hello!
I have found out how to make the winter seem to last forever, 'order a boat half way through it'.
We primarily fish out of the Wilmington NC area and have for the past 4 years been doing it out of a 25 Contender. Our main residence is in Belmont NC and we have a little fish shack in Wilmington.
Our 28 CC is due around the first of May. I have not made a decision on the engines yet, but will do so this week. We are suppose to sea trial a 28 with Volvo D6's, my other choice are the Yanmar 315hp.
I look forward to meeting and or talking with some of you all in the future. The Carolina Classic forum is a great idea.....Jim

[Split Decision]

Welcome jimbo, I know what you are going through. I ordered my 32 back in september. I thought the winter was going to go slow but I had a lot to do. Boatshows, picking out electronics, trip to factory etc. Mine should be finished just before yours. We are going to the factory to pick it up and to install the electronics hopefully in mid April and run it home.

I am getting anxious now that it is getting close. That clock seems to just stop does'nt it.
