  • New Ride

Hello everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm the proud owner of a new 35'CC. Found this site while looking for ideas how to rig the boat out for storage and other small things.

Congrats! I am expecting delivery of my 35 in the next week or so. What did you decide on electronics, etc?

My last boat had Furuno and Garmin electronics. After using both I would stay away from Furuno until they can develop a more user friendly product.
Even thier website is hard to understand.

Garmin Has come a long way with thier products. They have a new line coming out in May with 3D mapping topsidfe and bottomside. The garmin marine network is all around hard to beat.

By the way you can buy the 3210 network bundel now with all you need and change screens when the new 4212 and 5212 come out ( plug and play).

Congrats Jobsite, what a great boat!

I love Charleston SC, spent 4 years in the USAF down there from 1974-1978 and my youngest son is going to get married there in July 2008, one of Americas most beautiful cities. Enjoy!

Congrats, best of luck with the ride. Picked up mine october of 05. Still very happy with my decision for the money and the boat it cannot be beat. I did the Furuno all the way around but I like the Garmin and the satellite weather. Which engine package did you get? Only thing I would have done different is refrigerate all the boxes and put the thermostat topside, also make sure they interphase the smartcrafts with the engines and the electronics- it only comes partially interphased from factory ( you will not get GPS and MPG on the gauges)

                New CC35

Congratulations, Jobsite, I have an 03 CC28 that I have been really pleased. When you come down the ICW you pass behind the Agitator stored on a lift behind my house in beautiful, downtown Awendaw. Give blast on your horn so that I can stare with envy at your great new boat....Agitator
