Space?

Any 32 owners near their boats? I am looking for the distance between the 2 centerline stringers in the engine room. I have a tank mount in hull transducer & the tank width is 8-1/8" I need to know if this will fit down between the stringers and not create a damb in the bilge.

7-3/4" is the distance between the stringers, I am going to customize the wet box so it will fit down between the stringers. Nothing is easy!!
