I was at the show very nice to see the 25 and 28 CC though I felt that the 28 they had at the show had no tower and make the boat look alot smaller if I was selling CC boats I would of have the 28 with the tower just to show the people at the show how a 28 could compete with the larger express boats.

I went yesterday for a couple of hours. The port side seating arrangement on the newer 28's is much better....and, the bench seat in the tower is a nice enhancement too....but I noticed less head room in the cabin which I would be unhappy about since I am tall.

I can't believe the size and cost of some of these big outboard boats. I walked on a 36 foot grady white with three 250 hp yamahas and the show price tag was $415,000!

Did you guys see the new 32 True World boat they are asking 300000 with twin 315 Yanmars the price of boats are getting out of hand. This boat only has seats for 2 and has a no frills lay out.

The NY show sucks for fishing boats but is great for electronics because they have the factory reps there. They have just dealers at the AC show but the boats are much better.

That grady was pathetic. If i'm going to drop that kind of coin it will never have any snots on the transom.

the true world looked like ........... I can't even explain it, pathetic, the freeboard was about the height of a barn door, and the top very sad looking.

As Forum Administrator, couldn't we do better than "snots on a transom?"

I thought the True World 32 was interesting....it needs some enhancements like seating to start with. I like the idea of not having any Eisenglass, easy access to the bow, and the double railing if you have to chase a fish around the boat.....plus the cockpit is huge. My biggest concern with that boat would be the relatively flat bottom and lack of weight....I bet it pounds more than our 28's do in a head sea.

NY Boat Show

I was there Friday after work. Thats were I was told about this great site by the CC sales rep. I hope someone has an answer about my props.
