  • AC boat show

If it is not fishable the weekend of the 8th I might go to the show. Mac will be there on Fri and Sat. Anyone else plan on going. Maybe we could meet for a beer.

I did'nt ask Mac but usually the 25 and 28. They had a 32 there 2 yrs ago but that was a customers boat. You would have to call CC of NJ to find out since he is the dealer.

Went to the show on Saturday mainly to see Mac and Wade. They had a 28 and a 35 to look at. The 35 was a customers boat with the 540 cummins.

Looked at the new 36 Albemarle which is the only model that I like but had over a 500K tag. The Luhrs was pathetic as usual and Rampage had the Tred Barta offshore edition 33 in hunter green which I did'nt care for. Not a good looking boat. I really like the Carolina design. They are just great looking boats.

Tom did Mac or his crew say anything about Air conditioning at the helm? The sales guy on the 35 CC at Miami show this year said they can run AC to the helm. that Tred Barta Rampage is over the top. 500K for that 33 is what they said when I looked at it in February. I do like the 36 Albie as well.

They can do a/c at the helm. They can add a blower and vent that draws cool air off of the cabin a/c at the helm seat(s), and this is something they can do on request now . . .

CC is also building a 35 with a 16,000 btu a/c installed under the helm deck l-shaped bench with the intention that if this arrangement works out well they will offer it to customers at large . . .

              I hope this helps.

thanks Tswan I know it may not be a big deal in the northeast but here is Florida the A/C at the helm would sure help on those long 95 degree days on the water
