It's nice. I switched my original decals to the new one. The 28 was dropped and the new letters are raised. I moved the decal forward a bit so my fenders would not rub against the new decal. I had to resize the pics to post them so the resolution is not the best.
I thought they redesigned the logo, looks like they just tweeked it a bit.
I am a Graphic Designer and have re-designed the logo and sent Mac a version and am trying to get him to go for it. My decals were banged up so I had this logo cut and put on, looks awesome, gives the boat a real sleek look.
Check it out and give me some feedback, if possitive, I'll talk Mac into it at Norwalk Boat Show.
I replaced the old decals with the new style which I thinks improves the looks of the boat a lot. The old decals were heated with a heat gun which made them very easy to remove. The new decals were easy to install but be careful with the large "C" in Carolina it is a little tricky. I obtained the decals from he factory for about $30.
Thanks for the feedback everyone, Ill print out a few versions and corner Mac at the Norwalk boat show! Maybe he'll go for the new look. As far as sending out vinyl, not a problem (JohnD), but I think I have to talk to Mac first, I don't want to cause any "waves" with CC!
I've tried calling several times to order these from the factor but never heard back. I'm just going to have them made by a local printer. I've had the logo created now I need the dimensions (mine were missing when I purchased the boat). Can someone tell me the size (HxL)?
