  • fish box on CC 25

Alright guys with the CC25. What do you do for a fish box? I see the live well in the stern, but does it hold much. I want this boat for offshore, but this is a big concern. Are you guys using tuna bags, or a big cooler off the swim platform???

It kind of sounds like pain in the A$$ dealing with a tuna bag. My previous boat(25 robalo) had big fish boxes and could hold plenty of large fish. I guess every boat has it's sacrafices.

Dumb question but is a fishbox available on the straight inboard version since the jackshaft is gone ?
Life is to short for an ugly boat

Propshaft & exhaust still run down the middle of the straight inboard 25, don't think a fishbox is possible. Someone who owns one will chime in soon.

Little Dandy is right. Muffler and exhaust run right down the middle, can't get a fish box in there.

For offshore trips I carry a 270 Icey Tech or a 160 Igloo. I also keep a 6 foot tuna bag in the cabin, just in case it turns into a very good day.
