have a cc28 with D4 260's, my performance numbers are not up to the averages on this site. I am in hawaii, water is warmer all year, I think the props are an issue, we get shark skin growth here. Cleaning is a must, just hauled out and painted the props and took care of the bottom. Was looking at this prop speed product that keith has mentioned. It is real expensive at west marine, about 200$ per prop. Ultimately I chickened out and used 2 step process to paint the props. Does anyone have any experience with prop speed, ie does it improve performance and how long does it last?
