  • How long does it take your 28 to plane

My 28 is new to me this year and it seems a little slow to come on plane
other then that the boat runs great. Just curious how long it takes others
    to plane.Mine is a 2000 with 330 cummins.
Also thinking of getting a set of acme props made currently have hytorque
does any know what acme is getting $$$$ for a set of props.

Very heavy boat, I run my boat to about 1700 RPM's, let it come to speed, then advance throttles and let the turbo's do their thing. My rig is powered by the 4BTA 250's From 1700 RPM's to fuly up and out I would say it takes about 3-4 seconds. What are you experiencing?

The Acme's should run you about $1700 for the pair and worth every penny!!
