    Lowprofile,
I have kept my 2003 CC28 inboard on a 20,000lb lift since it was new in Sept 2002. I need it due to the fact that I live in the "sticks", tide range, up to 7', and the traffic on the ICW. I installed the lift ( Alumivator ) in 1999 for a 26' Bertram, so it has been in service for about 7 years. It has functioned very well and has been reliable.
If I were starting over again, I would probably reorient the lift to be parallel to the ICW rather than perpendicular due to high tidal flow and prevailing South wind. Your local situation will influence that decision. Let me know if I can be of further help...agitator

Does anyone have a lift or any experience with what I would need for my 28 Carolina Classic? I am thinking it would be a 20000 lb lift but others experiences are always better than what a salesmen tells you.
