"Guest" - I don't know where you have seen any blistering to support your post, but it has never been an issue with any CC owners that I'm aware of.

Check for blisters especially around the tab areas. 98's and 99's have lots of blister problems. The 28 is even a bigger problem

in the process of buying a 1998 cc25 with 1050 hrs. on a volvo kamd diesel the boat is very clean and is out of cape may nj. and this is te area i do most of my boating. i will be having the boat surveyed on 11/8/05 anything i should have the surveyer look for or pay special attention to. as an owner with a boat of this age with these hours what kind of things should i exspect to see in terms of correct crusing rpm how many kt. average (gallons per hour). maintance what should i be looking to replace etc. thank you.
