Trailering a 25, questions.

I'm thinking about adding transom eyes to my 25 for trailering. Any suggestions as to sources or particular brand/size?

I've only seen one other 25 on a trailer The guy had it tied down with a pair of 10k yellow web straps over the cockpit and another tying the bow eye straight down to the trailer tounge, no safety chain, no transom straps. My trailer (dual 6k axle, bunk type) didn't come with a safety chain either. I've already added that.

Dumb question, are the transom straps required? If so, I wish the transom eyes were factory standard on the boat.

Tie Down

The tie down requirement is based on what state you are towing in. It is required in Virginia and I use the cargo strap across the gunnels and it works just fine.
