Flow Through Water Heater

Does anyone have the optional flow through water heater in a 28? Does it work reasonably well? I am assuming it is a dual system that uses 110V shore power or heat from the engine cooling system?

I have one on my boat. It works well. I'm not sure about the dual stage. I have only used my plugged up to dockside power. Using heat from the engine is something you might want to ask the factory.

I have one it works Ok, warms the water to around 80. Not steaming hot. It is mounted behind the fridge. Honestly I rarely use it.
