Rocket Launchers for CC25

Has anyone added rocket launchers across the hardtop?

If so where did you get them? Was it an easy install?

I had a set installed before I picked up my 25. They are made by the same company that does the pipe work for the hardtop. I got a seven rod holder.

I just added them to my 28' and ordered them through Keith at the factory.

I called ashley Welding (the nice folks who do the pipe work for the hardtop).

Linda? Ashley was very helpful. She said they do offer a 5 or 6 mount hardtop rocket launcher. I ordered the 6, it was around $650 or so. It fit like a champ. Nice workmanship by Ashley Welding.

A few thoughts-

Be sure to have them securely box this item. Mine came bent and dented by the UPS guys. Not that big a deal as I bent it back but the dings are still in there.

Though it is not difficult to mount, it will be time consuming. You may need to reposition you spreader lights and you should have someone hold the unit so that you are able to properly center and drill the first hole for it. If you get really lucky you should be able to put the bolts through the forward part of the lip of the track that holds the aft curtains. It makes for an espacially clean and sturdy installation.
